I have never blogged before but I am going to give it a shot! I just finished a fleece blanket for my daughter Elaina. The blanket is her favorite color, yellow. It has her name on it appliqued in furry fleece "Scuba" blue letters. It also has 4 appliques in each corner that represent her personality.
The four appliques are as follows:
- A basketball (her favorite sport). The basketball is made out of furry orange fleece fabric
- A bright orange sun because she is known to be a ray of sunshine and very bright. The sun is made out of furry orange fleece like the basketball.
- 2 havanese dogs representing out dogs, Mitzi and Lucia. The dogs are made out of an off white furry fleece fabric
- A character of a chocolate bar holding a stop sign because Elaina is famous for not liking chocolate.
